Week Seven


 

Single Whip

The weight is now shifted back onto the left foot.  Then the waist is turned to the left as the right foot is allowed to turn in toward the left.  The elbows remain bent and the hands remain pointed out with the palms facing down.

Single Whip

The left hand is now brought around and to the waist with the palm up (the hands are now in the 'Holding the Ball' position).  The right wrist is now bent and the tips of the fingers are brought together to form a "Hook". Now the waist is turned and the weight is shifted back to the right foot.

Single Whip

The weight remains on the right foot as the waist it turned left.  The left heel is lifted (the ball of the foot remains on the ground) and then it is moved to point to the right heel.  At the same time the right arm is extended with the hand (still in the Hook position) is now at shoulder height.
